Generating new knowledge for the benefit of present and future generations, UChicago research has had an impact around the globe, leading to such breakthroughs as discovering the link between cancer and genetics, establishing revolutionary theories of economics, and developing tools to produce reliably excellent urban schooling.

Future courses offered by UChicagoX will come from UChicago faculty widely lauded as some of the world’s greatest thinkers, at the undergraduate College and the four divisions and six professional schools within its Graduate program.

EdX and UChicago share common goals: increasing access to quality education, improving outcomes online and on campus, and improving pedagogy through research. UChicago has a long history of experimentation to improve educational outcomes through innovation.
