You may not be aware, but nearly all OCW courses can be downloaded to your computer for easy offline access. Just look for the “Download course materials” link in the left hand navigation of the course.
This will give you a zip file that will decompress to a set of files replicating the entire course content locally. Look for the START.htm file in the course folder, which should open the course in a browser just like you were on the live site.
If the course has video, the video files aren’t included in the zip file (they are too big), but you can download those separately from iTunesU or the Internet Archive.

If I download this data will there be any requirements of me or is this for my knowledge only? I am 48 and only attended 1 year of college. I did complete Western Civ. 1 & 2 successfully.
Purely for your own knowledge. Enjoy!
May I just say what a comfort to find someone who actually understands what
they’re talking about over the internet. You certainly realize how to bring an issue to light and make it important.
More and more people should read this and understand this side of your story.
I was surprised you are not more popular because you surely
possess the gift.
