Millions of people are discovering open education through the recent attention drawn by Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). Many of these newcomers to the open education world may not realize, though, that beyond the MOOCs there are hundreds of other projects around the world offering unique open educational resources and opportunities. In the past decade, they have all been working toward the common aim of making education more equitable, affordable and available.
The recently concluded Open Education Week, organized by the OCW Consortium, was a great opportunity to survey the diversity and creativity of the open education community. Chances are you missed at least some of the great webinars this year–with so many great presentations, It would have bee a full-time job to join them all.
Fortunately, all webinars during Open Education Week were recorded, with links listed below. You can also view the videos directly on the Open Education Week YouTube channel and on the Open Education Week website, under events and webinars.
