The Review, University of Delaware’s student newspaper, has an opinion piece today urging faculty to make better use of open resources and praising the hard work of the OpenCourseWare Consortium in raising the profile of opencourseware and open text books:

Given the rise of technological resources in the field of education, many organizations such as the OpenCourseWare Consortium are trying their best to spread the resources around the country to different professors in order to make the college experience cheaper and more efficient for students. Many of the resources they suggest to educators include online textbooks and study guides that are not limited by copyright laws and can be seen by anyone.

Check out the resources and educational materials available through the OpenCourseWare Consortium web site.
